Highlights from all of the eight widely spaced (200m centers) historic drill holes are listed below.
- 3.78m grading 5.30% copper, 0.85g/t gold, 2.01% zinc and 22.0g/t silver including 0.92m grading 7.89% copper, 1.16g/t gold, 3.07% zinc and 35.8g/t silver and 0.49m grading 15.30% copper, 0.37g/t gold, 2.44% zinc and 47.0g/t silver; - 2.13m grading 3.68% copper, 0.41g/t gold, 1.97% zinc and 14.4g/t silver including 1.45m grading 4.97% copper, 0.34g/t gold, 2.63% zinc and 18.5g/t silver; - 3.06m grading 3.26% copper, 1.41g/t gold, 0.38% zinc and 10.7g/t silver including 0.51m grading 9.01% copper, 8.30g/t gold, 2.20% zinc and 42.0g/t silver; - 2.00m grading 1.35% copper, 0.09g/t gold, 0.20% zinc and 7.4g/t silver - 3.24m grading 1.01% copper, 0.19g/t gold, 0.76% zinc and 3.9g/t silver including 1.35m grading 1.30% copper, 0.16g/t gold, 1.65% zinc and 4.6 g/t silver.
To earn a 70% interest in the property, Rockcliff must pay $150,000 in incremental payments to Pure Nickel Inc. (NIC: TSE) over four years and will be required to incur aggregate exploration expenditures totalling $4,000,000 over four years; $2,000,000 over two years to earn a 50% working interest and a further $2,000,000 to earn a further 20% working interest. For additional information please refer to the February 21, 2008 news release.
Drilling and down hole geophysics has identified the Tower Zone as an extensive sheet of sulphides with a minimum strike length of 700m and a minimum vertical depth of 700m.
Rockcliff's program will test the zone between and below the widely spaced historic drill holes.
