Double Crown Provides Update on Bateman Gold & Mineral Mining Property in Thunder Bay, Ontario

Double Crown Resources, Inc. , a fully reporting company (hereinafter, "Double Crown"), would like to update shareholders on the status and latest developments with the company's 100% owned Bateman gold & mineral mining property located in the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt area of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Based on all available geologic research material, the management of Double Crown believes that the Bateman property hosts potential for large tonnage, low grade gold and nickel-cobalt platinum group metals (PGM) deposits. Previous exploration completed at Bateman has already proven the Timiskaming conglomerate units are gold bearing in various locations. Professional estimates have indicated Bateman may contain 500,000 oz of gold or more. Geologic experts have also speculated that the property has the potential to yield diamond deposits. Double Crown management intends to fully investigate all options for the best possible actions to take with this property.

Regarding the latest activity with the Bateman property, Double Crown's local mining advisor, Mr. Russell Kwiatkowski reports that, based on assay results from Benton Resources done on Bateman samples, the claims were re-staked over the winter when the weather was unsuitable for any other procedures. As a result of this re-staking effort the Bateman land holdings have now been increased to include two new claim blocks. Historical data has presented consistent Ni (Nickel) assays in the altered ultramafic rock at the surface showings in the area with assays of 0.22% Ni over 30.5m including 0.4% Ni over 6m. Of particular note are recent values for Pd (palladium) in a shallow drill hole. Results were 10327 ppb Pd, 591 ppb Pt (Platinum), and 693 ppb Au (Gold) over 1m. Further down hole were 10168 ppb Pd, 581 ppb Pt, and 654 ppb, Au over 1.5m. Still further down hole were 5249 ppb Pd, 407 ppb Pt and 246 ppb Au over 2.5m. Mr. Kwiatkowski stated, "The results clearly indicate the area warrants more advanced investigation to augment the resource base. The already proven existence of gold deposits combined with our confidence in the cluster effect of PGM deposits and the anomalous nickel, cobalt and copper clearly makes this an exploration property of merit and potential high value."

In all planning for options with the Bateman property, Double Crown management will give full consideration to new rules under Ontario's Mining Act of 2009 to promote mineral exploration and development in a manner that recognizes Aboriginal and treaty rights, is more respectful of private landowners and minimizes the impact of mineral exploration and development on the environment. These new rules include the filing of Exploration Plans and Permits ("EPP"). Aboriginal communities potentially affected by the EPP activities are notified by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines ("MNDM") and have an opportunity to provide feedback before exploration activities can be carried out. In light of these recent changes, Double Crown will honor and consult with the Fort William First Nation, the Metis as well as with the MNDM. All parties will work constructively together to build a relationship of respect, tolerance and sharing.

At this time, Double Crown management is also pleased to announce that the company's profile presentation on the "Insights with Terry Bradshaw" national television show has just been given additional air dates.
