BonTerra Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BTR); (FRANKFURT:9BR) announces the receipt of the second set of gold assays on its Eastern Extension Property in the Urban-Barry Greenstone Belt of Quebec.
Gold values on the 6 samples returned gold values as high as 25.5 grams per tonne gold. This is the second batch of several batches of samples for the Eastern Extension property. Assays were conducted by ALS Chemex in Val d'Or, Quebec. After reviewing the assay results, the Company is enthusiastic on the potential of the property and plans on drilling these high grade targets. The Company has chosen to employ a full quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) system for every batch of samples submitted to the lab. The QAQC samples include a standard, duplicate and blank.
The Company is currently drilling the fourth hole (BU-10-04) at this time on the Eastern Extension property. This drill hole is testing a historical high grade gold intercept (drill hole BL-97-16). The first three drill holes from the neighbouring Urban-Barry Property (BU-10-01, BU-10-02 & BU-10-03) have been logged and are currently being split for submittal to ALS Chemex of Val d'Or. Geologica Inc. of Val d'Or, Quebec is responsible for overseeing the drill and sampling program on behalf of the Company.

The Eastern Extension property is located approximately 170 km NE of Val-d'Or and 125 km SW of Chibougamau in the Barry and Bailly townships in James Bay, Quebec. The Urban-Barry property is situated just west of the Eastern Extension property. Neighboring Companies in the region are Metanor, Amseco, Beaufield, Eagle Hill, Glen Eagle, Urbana and Freewest, Murgor and Noront.
