MWH Geo-Surveys Retained for Next Phase of Operations on Patterson Uranium Prospect

Makena Resources Inc. wishes to announce that it has retained MWH Geo-Surveys Ltd. of Vernon, BC and Reno Nevada for the next phase of operations on the Patterson Uranium Prospect in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. The Patterson Property directly borders Fission Energy Corp.'s discovery.

MWH has been providing services to resource companies for over 35 years in the Athabasca basin and has been instrumental in significant discoveries within the Athabasca basin and around the world.

Negar Adam, President of Makena stated, "We are pleased to retain a quality firm, such as MWH, who have many years of experience and knowledge within the basin. We are looking forward to starting on the next phase of operations shortly. We are optimistic about our upcoming work program on the Patterson Uranium District, especially in light of the significant resource just announced by Fission as their property directly borders the property we are about to work on."

Makena also holds a 50-per-cent interest the Clone property in Stewart, B.C. To date, Makena has achieved significant drill results that returned grades of 12.80 metres (42 feet) of 44.75 grams per tonne (1.305 ounces per ton) gold, including 4.87 metres (16 feet) of 76.80 grams per tonne (2.240 ounces per tonne) gold and a 102-tonne bulk sample that returned grades of four ounces per ton or 139.2 grams per tonne gold over the 102 individually tested tonne samples.
