Fancamp Exploration Ltd. ("Fancamp") is pleased to announce that trenching this past week within the NNE trending Fault corridor encountered an approximately 2 metre wide zone of massive to semi massive sphalerite enclosed in strongly silicified siltstone, a type of mineralization not previously seen in the district. A grab sample from this zone returned a zinc value of 25%. In addition, immediately to the west of this occurrence in the trench, the host siltstone contains 30-40% sulphide bearing quartz veinlets. Further assays are awaited.
The Fancamp property cover some 12 kilometres of the Harriman fault structure, a splay of the Grand Pabos Fault system. Locally, along this corridor, prospecting has outlined clusters of angular mineralized boulders containing quartz veining in silicified fine grained sedimentary rocks of the Garin and Whitehead Formations which have yielded gold values in grab samples up to 29.5 gpt Au.
Further trenching is planned to ascertain the extent of this new zinc occurrence.
This report was prepared and approved by J. Bernard, P. Geo and Mike Flanagan, P. Geo, the Company's QP's.
