Tonogold Resources has reported Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling results for ten holes from the Tonopah Divide Gold Project situated five miles south of the Tonopah town, Nevada.
Due to the mining venture with Tonogold Resources, Centerra deals with the exploration program. The company’s RC consists of 10 holes to a total depth of 10,115 feet. From the time of commencement of the project, Centerra has drilled 79 holes for 74,070 feet.
The Phase II drilling program was completed in December 2010 and received eight of the best 17 intercepts. The company identified the Combination and Ruby Hill zones in 2010.
Combination Gold zone has intersected 0.060 oz/ton gold over 10 feet in TD10-073, 0.038 oz/ton gold over 20 feet in TD10-072. The company cuts Ruby Hill gold zones and encounters 0.016 oz/ton gold over 50 feet in TD10-076 and 0.017 oz/ton gold over 60 feet in TD10-077. It also intersects 0.019 oz/ton gold over 35 feet in TD10-079, 0.017 oz/ton gold over 35 feet in TD10-079 at North Monte Cristo gold mineralization.
In January, the company; performed preliminary metallurgical work, which comprises bottle roll tests on 13 composited intervals. Tonogold has recovered gold and silver on an average of 73% and 60% correspondingly.
The drilling program in December has added considerable stability to the +1,700 foot long Combination gold-silver zone. This program has also expanded the uniformly wide Ruby Hill discovery.
