Integra Gold has reported the latest drilling results from the No. 5 Plug at its Lamaque project, situated 250 metres northeast of the analogous vein structure.
The company intends to drill the No. 5 Plug in order to target numerous significant historical gold intercepts sited contiguous to the No. 5 plug area where the drilling had finished before 1987.
The company is testing the past data of the plug and has planned to drill further four diamond drill holes at the No. 5 plug as part of its recent 20,000 meter drilling for 2011. This drilling will analyze and validate the eastern frontier of the diorite invasion and the related vein system.
The company has received the recent results, which confirm the growing prospective of the mineralized zone at the No. 5 Plug. The company will collect valuable, historical data, which will assist in describing the next drill targets and discovers further targets through the 20,000 metre drill program.
Integra has intersected 222.86 g/t gold over 2.13m, 80.54 g/t gold over 0.61m, 36.21 g/t gold over 1.37m and 35.08 g/t gold over 3.20m at No. 5 Plug.
