Capella Resources has inked an agreement with Geotech of Aurora, Ontario to execute a joint Cesium-magnetometer and Z-tipper Electromagnetic (ZTEM) survey at its Habanero and El Rojo properties in Southern Peru.
It has three mineral concessions in Habanero and one in the El Rojo Properties totaling an area of 3,800 ha in south-western Ocuviri mining district in Peru. The locations of the properties are in the mineralization territory that is around 720 km southeast of Lima’s Capital City. Presently, Aruntani’s Andres-Arasi mine and Lara Exploration are exploring the El Rojo claims, which is situated between the historic Conaviri mine-wider exploration zone. Am Gold is operating the Habanero claim currently, which is in the surroundings of the Pinaya copper-gold project.
The ZTEM airborne passive geophysical survey calculates the conductivity and resistivity disparity traits of the sub-surface. This survey uses the Earth’s natural electromagnetic fields to measure the electrical reaction of the imaged region at great depths with the lower frequency channels and has the capacity to breakthrough the conductive cover frequently linked with mineralized systems. This combined system has acquired the interest of the exploration society to show the subsurface geology details and three dimensional mineralization symbols and has been employed in mapping global skarn and porphyry deposits.
Capella will evaluate the whole 3,800 ha of land for analyzing new exploration targets across the El Rojo and Habanero properties, through the survey. Magnetic and ZTEM surveytha totals a 430 line-km, is planned to sample spacingon a 300 m line in an east-west direction.
