Riverstone Resources has announced additional drilling results from its Karma Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa.

Goulagou I Deposit

These 10 holes are part of a current reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Goulagou I zone. The program has been planned to both fill-in and extend present mineralization at Goulagou I, which stays open in all directions, mainly to the west and at depth.

The company has intersected 1.65 g/t gold over 12.0 m in hole 200, 1.05 g/t gold over 36.0 m in hole 201 and 1.14 g/t gold over 36.0 m in hole 202.

The CEO and President of the company, has stated that the expansion of the size of the deposit is continuing and new mineralization is being identified as drilling advances.

This Goulagou I zone is hosted by Riverstone’s Karma deposit, which has a NI 43-101 compliant gold resource including indicated category of 810,000 oz gold in 22,845,000 t that grades 1.10 g/t gold and inferred category of 1,119,100 oz in 44,100,000 t that grades 0.79 g/t gold. This Goulagou property is under an Option to Purchase contract with Golden Star Resources.

Abilab Burkina SARL laboratories in Burkina Faso assays all the RC samples by means of standard fire assay and atomic absorption methods and grade samples over 1 g/t gold are assayed with a gravimetric finish.
