Seafield Resources Reports Positive Metallurgical Test Work Results from Miraflores Property

Seafield Resources has reported the encouraging results from the preliminary scoping level metallurgical test work performed at the Miraflores property in Colombia. This test work was completed by the Neveda-based McClelland Laboratories.

The company has conducted the test work on 14 samples, which was taken from the Miraflores deposit’s five drill cores. Rock Flour Breccia rock types and gold bearing White Breccia along with the Miraflores Breccia pipe are present in the samples. These samples have been united into around 10 kg weight of a single composite sample for making a bulk sample to conduct metallurgical testing.

Seafield has got 94.3% and 62.3% of gravity recoveries for gold and silver from this test work respectively. It is executing additional processing and metallurgical test work, which consists of flotation testing of the coarse extension. When the project advances towards the initial economic studies, the company will submit the further deposit samples.

The CEO and President of Seafield, has commented that Metallurgy is a good initial step in interpreting the mineralization at the Miraflores. The occurrence of copious free gold is shown by this examination. Seafield is continuing further analysis and testing for developing the project.

The focus of the ongoing drilling program is on the infill and expansion program at the Miraflores to outline the ore body shape and for the lateral expansion of the mineralization, which stays open. Seafield is continuing the drill campaign at the Dosquebradas region and is anticipating the arrival of the results in the coming weeks.
