Aeroquest International has announced the completion of a radiometric and magnetic aerial geophysical survey for around 989 line-km over the International Montoro Resources’ Tacheeda Lake rare earth element (REE) prospect.
The location of this prospect is in the north BC’s Rocky Mountain Rare Metal Belt, and Spectrum Mining’s adjacent claims. It is considered that these claims would enclose a buried carbonatite.
The AeroMAG system is suitable for its greater capacity to outline the uneven terrain in northern British Columbia. The results will be additionally improved by the flown tight line spacing of 50 m.
The CEO and President of Montoro, has commented that this aerial survey will support to discover and prioritize the rare earth element and additional mineral targets for the future trenching, sampling and drill targets. The company is waiting to obtain the survey information from Aeroquest. When Aeroquest has completed the survey, Montoro will arrange for the information analysis, by an independent geophysical professional for signifying the additional exploration program.
Recently, the company has inked an acquisition agreement for a further 11 claims, totaling 4,278.52, adjacent to and encloses the claims of the Tacheeda Lake. This land purchase would double the company’s holdings in the region to more than 7,580 ha and has included a 93.41 ha claim, known as "Quite the Little Pit", which is a historical limestone producer.
