International Montoro Resources (IMT) has finished an AeroMAG radiometric and magnetic aerial geophysical survey on the Tacheeda Lake rare earth elements prospect.
This survey was done over an area of around 989 line km, and the location of this prospect is in the Rocky Mountain Rare Metal Belt in North British Columbia. Spectrum Mining holds the surrounding claims of the prospect. IMT considers that the claims owned by Spectrum were enclosing a buried carbonatite.
The company has obtained the initial survey results from Aeroquest Airborne. Many coincident magnetic and radiometric anomalies have been discovered on the Tacheeda property, through the preliminary results of the survey. These anomalies are believed to have high priority in the follow-up samplings. In addition, the survey’s magnetic part outlined the strong magnetic anomaly located on the grounds of Spectrum Mining and additional magnetic features that were expanding from this feature to the property.
The company will send the information for final analysis in order to support the discovery and prioritization of rare earth element and more mineral targets for future trenching, sampling, and drilling targets.
IMT is also focusing in the development of the Elliot Lake REE/uranium project located in North Ontario. The company is studying an encouraging analysis of a significant aerial anomaly situated in the Serpent River property’s northwest corner.
