Antioquia Gold has identified a second vein system in the Guaico structure’s footwall, which is at the Cisneros project. The company is drilling continuously to outline the primary formation along the strike and to the depth at the Guaico structure.
The company has interested 103.10 g/t gold over 0.50 m and 15.12 g/t gold over 3.70 m in the hole GCO11-006, 135.90 g/t gold over 0.50 m and 34.08 g/t gold over 2.0 m in the hole GCO11-007, 33.68 g/t gold over 2.00 m and 19.56 g/t gold over 3.50 m in the hole GCO11-009.
Antioquia has conducted a definition drill program and has discovered a second analogous vein system at the Guaico formation. It has cut 14.20 g/t gold over 1.60 m in the hole GC011-009, which is the formerly prominent Guaico vein’s footwall. It is clear that the Guaico formation can be inferred as a minimum of two, analogous gold-bearing veins that is striking towards northeast and having a joint and authenticated strike that has a length of minimum 200 m. The Guaico mineralization and formation has been cut 300 m below the surface and stays open to depth.
The CEO and President of Antioquia Gold, has stated that this recent results and the discovery of the vein at the Guaico formation has offered further support to the company’s team since the improvement on a resource estimation for the project is made. This fresh data will help to progress towards a production resolution and the exploration tunnels.
