Decade Resources has released the assay results of the initial hole from the Prince John prospect, which is a section of the wide Premier East property, northwest of BC.
The location of the Prince John copper-gold prospect is around 5 km to Stewart town’s northern part, BC. The company outlined numerous outcrops with malachite stains and two short adits at this formerly undrilled prospect region. The outcrops are present in a huge area, which is enclosed by shrubs, dense alders and tiny hemlock scrapes that are around 800 m above the sea level. The adits shown on a sharp hillside cannot be accessed because of caving.
The company has obtained 1.09% copper, 0.395 g/t gold from the sample R-LK-61, 1.97% copper, 0.377 g/t gold from the sample R-LK-62, 1.63% copper, 0.062 g/t gold from the sample R-KP-166 and 2.29% copper, 0.29 g/t gold from the sample R-KP-167.
Decade has drilled eight holes to cut below, southwest and northeast of the open outcrops. At 90.85 m, the primary hole was lost in a copper mineralization, which comprised minor pyrite, and fine grained bornite, chalcopyrite. Decade cut local andesite dykes and a syenite dyke in this hole.
The company has intersected 0.15 g/t gold and 0.14% copper over 6.1 m, 0.05 g/t gold and 0.18% copper over 6.04 m, 0.15 g/t gold and 0.33% copper over 13.41 m, 0.63 g/t gold and 0.62% copper over 20.58 m in the hole DDH-PJ-1.
AGAT Laboratories of Ontario and Loring Laboratories of Alberta tested all the samples.
Decade has drilled 40 holes and examined the upper Montrose zone. It has mobilized the drill rig to a location, which will enable examination of the zone,200 m to the southern part of the current drilling and an height 100 m less. Intersections in this region will validate a hole drilled during 2007, which showed the upper Montrose zone’s southwest expansion.
Decade has finished prospecting, identifying sites of all past showings, and discovering broad sulphide zones in Manitoba. It has sent around 200 samples from 2011 channel sampling, previous trenches and fresh showings for assaying.
