Decade Resources has obtained the assay results of additional eight drill holes and the remaining DDH-MON-11-17, which were drilled at the Upper Montrose zone located in the Red Cliff project, northwest BC.
This is a copper-gold property that includes eight mineral claims, which is situated around 25 mi. to the northern part of the town of Stewart in BC. The objective of the company for this 2011 field season was to expand the zone to a strike and a depth of up to 500 m and 250 m, respectively. The goal has been achieved by means of an additional infill drill program needed in 2012.
The company drilled 44 holes to cut southwest of and beneath the hole DDH-MON-2009-1-6 and under the furthermost southwest holes drilled during 2010. It drilled a hole DDH MON-11-44, which is the most southwesterly hole, and cut a 10 m broad pyritic zone along with negligible chalcopyrite. The pyritic rich zone in the hole DDH-2009-CT-2 encountered 9.22 g/t gold over 3.05 m. These results are for the drill holes at the western part of DDH-MON 2009-1 to 6. The company did not receive assay results from the hole DDH-MON-11-20 and 23.
During 2012 drill season, the company has intended to drill off roads at the southwest portion of the Upper Montrose zone. This plan will complete several different drill pads for analysis from the zone’s hanging wall part. Loring laboratories in Alberta assayed the samples.
