Antioquia Gold is continuing the expansion of the mineralized structures at depth and along strike of the Guayabito deposit.
Additionally, the company has reported a fresh discovery in the hole GYB11-060 at the Guayabito deposit.
The company has intersected 101.1 g/t gold over 0.55 m and 18.57 g/t gold over 3.0 m in the hole GYB11-059, 85.70 g/t gold over 0.50 m and 26.93 g/t gold over 1.6 m, 46.80 g/t gold over 0.7 m and 6.83 g/t gold over 5.10 m in the hole GYB11-060.
At present, Antioquia Gold is working on estimating primary resource requirements for the Cisneros project. It drilled 6,017 m at the Guayabito deposit during 2011, in a total of eight holes reported in September. Currently, Moose Mountain Technical Services is utilizing these 17 hole results and other drilling and exploration information from the 2009 and 2010 programs to estimate the resource for Guayabito deposit.
Antioquia’s Vice President of Exploration, Brad Van Den Bussche has commented that the drilling has improved the analysis of the Guayabito deposit. The company is excited that further drill programs have reported new discoveries, extending the region. It has increased the database, which can be employed in the current method to develop a resource description, by means of understanding the Cisneros project.
