Golden Touch Resources Begins Ground Geophysical Campaign at Rubik Gold Project

Golden Touch Resources has started a ground geophysical campaign at the Rubik Gold project, Albania.

Ground magnetic surveys, induced polarization (IP) resistivity, chargeability are included in this program. This campaign is an addition to the surface sampling and geological mapping along the geophysics grid lines.

The geophysical campaign will enclose a potential greenstone belt, which is trending towards the east from the Gjazuj prospect.

The investigation region has included six separate anomalous "gold in stream sediments" or "gold in soils" regions. The anomalous regions can show the additional outcrops of gold-bearing shear zones and sharply-dipping type that was identified through drilling at Gjazuj.

The company has defined at least nine, sharply-dipping, separate and mineralized shear zones through drilling at the project. The shear zones at Gjazuj have match with the anomalous regions. The geophysics campaign will examine additional five anomalies. Golden Touch is anticipating that the resistivity and magnetics will help in mapping the structure and geology of the region. The chargeability may define the sulphide mineralization regions. The mineralogy work and core logging has shown that the mineralized gold is connected closely with sulphides found during the subsequent phases of the alteration, mineralization and the tectonic history of the region.

The company has conducted geophysical traversing along 1 km long lines at 200 m spacing. A topographical contractor has implemented the line and grid clearing before from the ongoing geophysics campaign.

The geologists of the company have started geological mapping program along every grid line and Golden Touch has performed channel sampling any mineralized exposures that were detected.

CFT Engineering Geophysical & Geological Services in Turkey has conducted this geophysical campaign. The crew has begun the work on site.
