Bravo Gold has announced the surface channel sample results from the Kinskuch property, which is a 59,600 ha claim package situated nearby and to the southern part of the Homestake Ridge project, northwest British Columbia.
The company has intersected 16.9% lead, 1503 g/t silver and 8.8% zinc over 0.55 m and 5.5% lead, 530 g/t silver and 4.2% zinc over 2.2 m in the trench KNTR-015, 4.3% lead, 285 g/t silver and 3.1% zinc over 1.1 m in the trench KNTR-018, 16.0% lead, 898 g/t silver and 10.4% zinc over 0.6 m and 7.8% lead, 373 g/t silver and 5.2% zinc over 1.9 m in the trench KNTR-004.
The company gathered saw-cut channel samples from the surface exposures and hand-dug trenches that enclose a strike of length 2.5 km of the Illiance River trend. The sampling program targeted a north-south trending, strongly altered silver and base-metal zone present in the similar volcanic stratigraphy, which is a significant host at the Homestake Ridge project. The trend has expanded for more than 5 km on the Kinskuch property’s eastern side and is exposed towards the northern and southern part.
The channel sampling is constant with Bravo’s former surface chip sampling program and the excellent values from the previous sampling all through the trend. The sampling was conducted in the early trenches and surface outcrops.
This surface exploration has validated the existence of a strongly mineralized system, rich in precious metal, over a strike of 2.5 km in the similar stratigraphic segment as the Homestake Ridge deposits. The company is expecting the analytical results from four core holes, drilled during the 2011 exploration season end, in January 2012. It drill tested only three prominent mineral occurrences out of the six with near surface holes. It has to examine several other targets in the Kinskuch project.
