Northern Tiger Resources Obtains Final Assay Results from 3Ace Property

Northern Tiger Resources has received the assay results of the final nine holes drilled during the 2011 program at the 3Ace property, Southeast Yukon. The Main Zone will be expanded along strike to an additional 50 m towards the northern part in view of the present assay results. These results show the continuity of the strong down-dip zone.

The company has encountered 1.18 g/t gold over 31.7 m in hole 3A-11-19, 17.72 g/t over 2.0 m and 2.58 g/t gold over 53.0 m in hole 3A-11-33, 70.11 g/t gold over 1.1 m and 4.37 g/t gold over 10.0 m in hole 3A-11-34.

The hole 3A-11-35 is a 50 m step out hole located in the Main zone towards the northern part of the hole 3A-11-14. Two mineralized gold zones have been intercepted in the hole 3A-11-35. The company has yielded 4.95 g/t gold over 7.2 m in the hole 3A-11-14. The steeper holes 3A-11-19, 3A-11-31, and 3A-11-33 were drilled from the current pads. The step-back hole 3A-11-34 has been drilled to 25 m. Mineralized gold has been intersected in all these four holes. These holes show the Main Zone’s down-dip continuity. The length of the Main zone’s strike is 220 m. This zone remains exposed along the strike towards the down-dip and northern part.

Northern Tiger has drilled two scout holes in the North zone. The company has found visible gold in hole 3ANZ-11-01 and has sent the drill core split sample to the laboratory. The company did not find any significant assay results from the second hole in the North zone. It has also drilled two scout holes at the Road Showing that cuts several narrow and low-grade mineralized gold zones.
