Legend Gold Identifies New Gold Bearing Zone at Lakanfla

Legend Gold, a mineral exploration and development company, has discovered Zone 4, which is a fresh gold bearing zone at Lakanfla.

This discovery was the follow-up of an encouraging grab sample, from June, 2011, which returned 31 g/t gold. The drilling program was aimed at finding the orientation of the Zone 1 mineralization to help position the upcoming drilling programs. Legend Gold drilled three holes, in which two holes returned gold values. The company planned to drill two holes at the concession’s north portion. The hole 11LKDD_04 returned 3.42 g/t over 13 m.

Doug Perkins, Legend Gold’s CEO, stated that the company can extend on the current mineralization zones on the permit. Seven small trenches have been completed in the fresh Zone 4 and the results will be announced shortly, when received.

The company has intersected 1.96 g/t gold over 0.60 m in hole 11LKDD_01, 8.33 g/t gold over 0.50 m, 4.37 g/t gold over 1.00 m and 3.42 g/t gold over 1.40 m in hole 11LKDD_02, 15.00 g/t gold over 2.00 m, 0.49 g/t gold over 4.00 m and 3.42 g/t gold over 13.00 m in hole 11LKDD_04, 4.51 g/t gold over 1.00 m and 0.67 g/t gold over 2.00 m in hole 11LKDD_05.
