Entourage Metals Intersects Super G Vein Discovery at Black Raven Property

Entourage Metals has announced that the BR11-05 and BR11-06 drill holes cut the Super G vein discovery, which enables expansion of the strike length to 400 m with visible gold mineralization. Mineralization stays broadly exposed for extension in every direction. Currently, the company is conducting phase II delineation or exploration drilling program for more than 3000 m at the Black Raven property.

Black Raven Drill Plan

The initial results have validated the Super G quartz vein’s nuggety nature, which has the characteristics of Archean lode-gold systems. This has shown the presence of anomalous gold in parallel structures towards the Super G vein.

The new discovery of the company has authenticated the prospective of other gold mineralization styles that was unseen during the exploration, after the Hemlo’s first discovery.

The 1,100 m of phase I drilling program was targeted on the Super G shear’s central zone and known geochemical, magnetic, and resistivity anomalies located on the property’s remaining areas. Mineralized gold was cut by all six holes along the Super G shear zone. The company encountered 128.0 g/t gold over 0.3 m in the hole BR11-01, 107 g/t gold over 0.95 m and 44.57 g/t gold over 2.38 m in the hole BR11-04. This intercept, hosting shear, included a breccia vein, which has same style like the further Archean lode-gold deposits present in the Canadian Shield.

Still, Entourage has to examine the down-dip from the drill hole BR11-04, and along strike towards the southern part beneath a near-surface pond. The company is preparing ice-based drill program in order to complete these step-out holes before the break-up of the spring season.
