Huldra Silver has announced the additional exploration results from the 2011 program conducted at Treasure Mountain. The company obtained further assay results from the final 24 holes and encountered 4.76% molybdenum, 13.47% lead, 9.92% zinc and 1,565 g/t silver over 1.2 m in hole TM11-36, which cut the vein structure around 15 m beneath the Level 2 Drift.
The company drilled more than 5,073 m, 51 diamond drill holes at the main mine development and additionally aimed to outline resources on the mine’s upper 150 m.
Huldra has sampled the upper two levels of the underground mine development at 5 m spacing, which includes all raises and drifts. The company will be announcing these sample results, once the drilling assay results are obtained and compiled.
According to Huldra’s Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Sharp, the company is identifying several vein structures in the drill core, which will help in planning the upcoming underground exploration and advancement. Currently, the company is utilizing this information together with the underground sampling in order to plan for the next two stages of development.
The company’s geologist has logged the drill core and intersects at predetermined intervals by means of a diamond saw. Huldra has archived the sample’s one half onsite and has sent another half to Vancouver-based Acme Analytical Laboratories' facility.
