Huldra Silver has announced the updation on the mining operations conducted at the Treasure Mountain property and the construction of mill located in Merritt, BC. The production capacity of the mill is 200 t per day.
The company began the initial underground stope mining during November, 2011 and has explored an area over 75 m length and 55 m height. Huldra has completely developed an additional stope located at the east part of the Level 1 of the mine, whose length and height are 65 m and 55 m, respectively. When the ventilation system is completed, the company may commence mining program at the earliest. It may take around eight weeks to explore the eastern stope.
Huldra has completed engineering work for the design of the removing crown pillar and backfilling of the primary two stopes. When this engineering work has been completed, the company will pull down two developed stopes and will transport remaining mill feed to the mill location. This will mine a third developed stope present between the primary two stopes. The length and height of the third stope are 65 m and 55 m.
The company has expanded the vein drift on Level 1 for around 20 m towards the eastern part following the structure of vein for exploration. It has sent all samples to Acme Analytical Laboratories in Vancouver, BC for testing. Crews will commence exploration on the mine’s level 2 during July. The company will install development and exploration raises between Levels 1 and 2, on completion of the drifts.
Huldra has scheduled to complete the construction of the 200 t per day mill located in Merritt by this July end.
