WCB Resources Receives Drill Testing Results from Red Hill Project

WCB Resources (WCB) has announced that it has obtained the results from the drill testing program conducted at the Red Hill project.

The company drilled WRH001, which focused on the coincident anomaly of copper and gold soil, a strong induced polarization anomaly and high order magnetics, to 358.7 m depth. The typical skarn type mineralization was supported by the geological mapping. The down hole depth of the target was from 160 to 230 m.

A series of skarn-bearing weak magnetite and silicified limestone were intercepted in the hole WRH001 at a down hole depth from 1 to 56 m. The company identified dacitic volcanics at the end of the hole. It encountered variable pyrite alteration zones, wherein a variable silica-pyrite breccia zone of 1.55m related with a near vertical fault was found to be significant. This fault zone had been noticed to contain disseminated chalcopyrite.

Planetary Geophysics was contracted by the company in order to finish a three- dimensional down hole magnetic survey for specifically outlining the position and location of the magnetic high anomaly. The survey results have shown the positioning of strong magnetic high immediately towards the northern part of the present hole WRH001.

WCB’s CEO and President, Mr. Cameron Switzer stated that the basics of the project include high order magnetic anomalism, high order copper and gold in soils, high order IP response and skarn alteration have shown the presence of the target zone at the property. The 3D down hole magnetic survey results along with the structural analysis have shown the non-intersection of projected target by the hole WRH001, because of structural dislocation.

The company has finalized that it has not examined the target that was formerly outlined and will complete further drill testing at the Red Hill project during late 2012.
