NuLegacy Gold has announced that the company is commencing the drill program at the Red Hill project, located in Nevada.
The company is expecting to drill more than 25 holes in this program, wherein most of them will be core holes and reverse circulation (RC) holes.
According to Roger Steininger, COO of NuLegacy, drilling at the Red Hills is a significant exploration program in the history of the company and NuLegacy is following on the large geophysical anomalies and potentially mineralized gold discovered in the former works.
The drilling campaign is specifically designed for finding the grade and size of the gold deposit, which was discovered in the Long Fault anomaly, in order to follow up the mineralized gold showings at the Jasperoid Basin, Central Mineralized and Central Pediment anomalies and to dig Coal Canyon and East Pediment target areas.
The company has mobilized a core drilling rig to the property for drilling two core holes that offset the high-grade mineralized gold from the hole BRH-13. These two holes and five RC holes are examining the target areas on the part of the project, owned by Miranda Gold.
Envirotech Drilling conducts RC drill program at the Red Hills project and National EWP performs core drilling on the same. American Assay Labs will test all the drill hole samples for gold and 36 trace elements.
