Netco Silver has reported that it has updated the trenching, prospecting and sampling program carried out at the Toruel Property, which is situated around 23 km towards the southeastern part of the town of Los Menucos and about 100 km from the Navidad project.
The company has discovered several vein structures on the Toruel Property, wherein it has systematically explored and mapped about 50% of the property.
The Capos and El Cumpa veins are the two additional vein structures discovered through the new sampling and prospecting programs. The company is delighted to announce that the assay results have validated the presence of gold and silver in El Cumpa and Capos veins and extend the capability of the Toruel project. Channel samples have yielded results from 0.8 g/t to more than 200 g/t silver and from 0.01 g/t to 4.37 g/t gold. Over-limit silver assays have been returned from two samples.
The El Cumpa and Capos veins are situated around 2,500 m towards the eastern part of the Toruel vein, wherein earlier drill program had encountered 5.34% copper and around 2 kg over 6.7 m.
The El Cumpa and Capos veins are identical to the prominent Toruel vein system and include multi-phased silica events. The mineralizing environment comprises several drusy silica veinlets and hydrothermal replacement breccias.
Silica can partially replace the breccia fragments related to crystal tuff. The breccias represent the traditional cockade or cockscomb textures. These veins stay exposed along strike towards the western and eastern part, and the depth potential has been untested.
These drilling results continue to assist the geological model. Up-thrown blocks have been opened towards a deeper erosion level, while down-thrown blocks are not exposed.
