Diamond Drilling Program Commences on Geomega Resources’ Anik Gold Project

Geomega Resources Inc. announces the start of a 3,000 meters diamond drilling program on its Anik gold project. The initial campaign will include drilling of the gold showings (Orbi, Mirador and Bobby) discovered last summer during field works as well as testing other satellite targets outlined following geophysical and geochemical surveys.

Orezone Gold Reports Burkina Faso Operations Update

Orezone Gold Corporation is pleased to report that regular operations are progressively resuming in Burkina Faso. Normal office activities in Ouagadougou and Bomboré site environmental monitoring resumed on November 4 and November 6, respectively. Work is underway at the Bomboré field camp to fully assess the damages and clean up and repair broken windows and office furniture.

Hebei Zhongbo Platinum to Acquire Eastern Platinum’s South African PGM Business

Eastern Platinum Limited ("Eastplats" or the "Company") today announced that it has reached an agreement with Hebei Zhongbo Platinum Co. Limited ("Hebei Zhongbo") whereby Hebei Zhongbo will acquire the Company's entire South African platinum group metal ("PGM") business and all loan agreements that Eastplats has with its subsidiary companies, for a total consideration of US$225 million payable in cash on closing (the "Acquisition"). The consideration received by Eastplats will be net of the amounts payable to certain minority interests, which amounts remain to be settled.
