Typhoon Exploration has completed 11 drillings out of 29 during the 2010 campaign, intersected more than 5.0 g/t gold over extra 2.0 meters. The company intercepts an average of 22.2 g/t gold over 4.9 meters.
The Phase I of the 2010 drilling program permitted the team to verify the geologic model, constancy of auriferous mineralization and discovery of new mineralized lenses.
The Auriferous mineralized zones are a part of the very productive metallogenic system and were identified in 2010.
The Phase I of drilling program includes 29 drill holes totaling 10,339 meters and was conducted from July to December, 2010
At present, Aurizon Mines and 50,000 meters of drilling provide $6.5 million dollars for the phase II of the drill program. Completion of the 21 drill holes for total of more than 6,044 meters, suggests extending the campaign in 2011.
A number of exploration drillings will be finished so as to estimate low intensity magnetic targets (magnetic low) and Gocad anomalies that are alike the Fayolle Deposit.
Aim of the company for 2011 is to describe the size and geometry of the Fayolle Deposit for increasing the resources significantly.
