Cream Minerals has released assay results for the drill holes DH 1– 01-11 and DH 1– 02–11 drilled at Nuevo Milenio Silver-Gold Project.
These are the first drilling results from the formerly announced 10,000 metre drill program, which began on February 6, 2011 and signifies preliminary in-fill drilling results of the Dos Hornos 1 vein structure. So far, the company has encountered high grade of 1,849 g/t silver and 6.21 g/t gold as the most positive results at the Dos Hornos I vein structure and is comparing with the assay of 1,886 g/t silver and 6.18 g/t gold received over 3.11 metres at Veta Tomas vein structure. The Dos Hornos I vein at 12+ metres in size is considerably broader than the Veta Tomas vein having a width of 5.1 metres.
The purpose of the 10,000 metre drilling is to perform in-fill drilling at the Dos Hornos 1 and Dos Hornos 2 and the Veta Tomas vein structures. The plan of in-fill drilling is to offer adequate information to prepare a new NI 43-101 resource estimate and to permit the Company to improve a major portion of the existing Mineral Resource to Indicated.
Cream has to complete an additional in-fill drilling program and the further assay results are pending. The company has finished a sum of 18 diamond drill holes for a total of 4,320 metres. Diamond saw-cut core samples from 15 holes have been transported to the Inspectorates laboratory in Durango, Mexico for assaying.
