Manson Creek Resources Begins 2011 Exploration at Virgin Arm Gold Project

Manson Creek Resources has announced that the exploration program for 2011 is ongoing at the Virgin Arm gold project in Newfoundland. The company will begin a comprehensive soil sampling program for the 18.6 line kilometer.

The company performs geochemical sampling program targeting the extremely potential Discovery Ridge zone. Nine gold potential areas were identified in this zone during 2010. The identified gold potential so far on the Discovery Ridge were exposed in hand trenches during restricted historical soil sampling information while prospecting gold anomalous values. The ongoing drill program will infill intervals in historic sample sites and give thorough geochemical statistics, which will support the impending trenching program. The company has planned to commence the diamond drilling in July.

Manson Creek has applied for the Mineral Incentive Program of Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources. If the department recognizes it, then the company would receive a grant of a maximum of $100,000. This incentive program granted $22,709 to Manson Creek in 2010.
