Goldeye Explorations Begins Diamond Drilling at Shining Tree Project in Ontario

Goldeye Explorations has begun a 2,500 to 3,000 metre diamond drill program on April 27, 2011 at its Shining Tree project in northeastern Ontario.

This project is situated about 20 kilometres west of Gowganda in Tyrrell Township including the Tyrrell Shear Zone (TSZ) for a strike extent of around five kilometres.

The TSZ is an important formation in the region and its related structures are associated with a significant number of gold mineralization at the Goldeye property, in addition to the Juby Deposit of Temex Resources that is sited around two and a half kilometers along the strike from the Goldeye frontier. The company has encountered 614,000 million indicated ounces of gold averaging 1.36 g/t gold and 602,000 inferred ounces averaging 1.14 g/t gold. Goldeye has targeted regions including Hydro Creek, Gold Pit, West Zone, Cigar Lake and the West Tyrrell Iron structure and has planned to drill a minimum of 12 holes.
