Newcastle Minerals Plans to Conduct Diamond Drilling at Chester Project

Newcastle Minerals is a gold and base metal exploration firm based in Canada. The company is developing its three main properties, which include the 120-hectare Carscallen property in Ontario’s West Timmins region, 11,100-hectare Pickle Lake property in northwestern Ontario and 6,600-hectare property in Ontario’s Swayze greenstone belt that is adjacent to the Chester property of Trelawney Mining and Exploration.

Newcastle Minerals has contracted Chenier drilling services to conduct a 1,500-metre diamond drilling at its fully owned Chester project in northwestern Ontario, Canada. The company is anticipating to commence drilling on June 1.

A 30-hectare Chester project of Newcastle is located around one kilometre north of Cote Lake deposit of Trelawney Mining and Exploration and is enclosed by the Watershed project of Augen Gold and Sanatana Diamonds. Recently, Trelawney has encountered more low-grade gold that includes 1.18 g/t gold over 285.80 metres, 1.26 g/t gold over 275 metres and 1.65 g/t gold over 304 metres from its Cote Lake deposit.
