Coro Mining Commences 2,000m Drilling Program at Chacay Copper Property

Coro Mining has begun the 2,000m diamond drilling campaign at its Chacay porphyry copper property, which is situated 12km southeast of the Relincho copper project of Teck Resources, and 50km east of Vallenar city in the III Region of Chile.

This drilling will offer further geological data about Chacay and will analyze for deeper key copper mineralization. Additionally, the company will describe the continuity of the Nacho Zone chalcocite layer. Coro Mining has planned to extend the resource definition drilling program soon, if it receives the positive results from this drilling program.

Coro has purchased the El Tapao property in the IV Region of Chile by optioning and staking from a local Chilean claim holder. The company may buy 100% of the optioned property through four yearly imbursements of US$25,000 that is followed by US$1 million as the closing payment. El Tapao property is an early phase, high level variation zone having possibility to hold a huge porphyry copper deposit. Coro Mining has planned to finish surface exploration later in 2012, before executing the drill test.
