Ascot Resources Progresses 2011 Exploration Program at Premier

Ascot Resources has announced that the 2011 exploration program is in progress at Premier and it will start drilling soon.

Recently, Ascot has bought a further track mounted drill rig and now the Company has three drill rigs. All these drill rigs will be utilized at Premier. The financial plan for this 2011 exploration is $3.5-$4.0 million and the program includes a 20,000-25,000 meter drill program having around 100 diamond drill holes.

The company is continuing the 2010 drilling program and is validating the potential for bulk tonnage and high-grade underground gold targets at the property that is similar to the system explored at Premier. Ascot will drill the Province-Big Missouri and Unicorn zones at adequate density in 2011, to offer the first 43-101 resource in this huge target.

The latest collection of significant Westmin drilling results in small regions containing Martha Ellen, S1and Dago has assisted the geological model and also expands the mineralized regions that are not formerly drilled by the company. Westmin drills more than 550 drill holes at rigid drill spacing and aids to show fine continuity of mineralized gold. In 2011, this information will be drill tested in the field for possible addition in the first 43-101 resource.
