Otish Gold Starts Phase II Exploration at Puruni Gold Project in Guyana

Otish Gold has begun the Phase II exploration program at the Puruni Gold Project. The project includes six adjacent land blocks, which is around 9000 acres in total in the Mazaruni Mining District No. 3, Guyana.

The company has discovered five potential gold zones at the Puruni property based on the soil gas hydrocarbon (SGH) survey and saprolite (weathered bedrock) sampling results, which was completed recently. Two mineralized zones along with the most excellent SGH responses have encountered anomalous gold from the saprolite samples up to 4.0 g/t as the maximum. The Company is planning to gather around 1000 samples from these two mineral zones. Also, Otish has planned to begin a trenching and deep channel sampling program in the potential regions to additionally describe the drill targets.

The company has engaged Martin David Zambrano Gutiérrez of Peru to supervise the drilling program. This exploration geologist has experience in working with numerous renowned geotechnical and mining companies in Peru and Guyana.
