Radisson Mining Resources has released the first five hole results of a 10 hole exploration program at its O'Brien-Kewagama project.
The company has discovered near surface and high-grade gold mineralization. It has intersected 5.25 g/t gold over 1.8 m in hole #2, 147.8 g/t over 1.5 m and 32.3 g/t gold over 7.3 m in hole #3, 2.9 g/t gold over 4.3 m in hole #4 and 12.85 g/t gold over 2.25 m in hole #2.
Techni-Lab SGB Abitibi has completed assaying with an atomic absorption finish and fire assay. It has utilized the metallic sieve for re-assaying the high grade gold.
Radisson has drilled the first holes for more than 820 m along the strike to assess the shallow gold mineralization. It has identified gold in the quartz vein formations in the sediments and in Cadillac Break’s porphyry and volcanic rocks. All the holes have been drilled towards the north to pass through the Cadillac Break.
The location of the O'Brien-Kewagama project is in the Malartic-Cadillac mining camp and includes 36 claims. The Cadillac Break, which is productive, spans the whole property for over a 3 km length.
O'Brien Gold Mine, which is on the property’s west portion, has produced 15.2 g/t from 1933-1956 and achieved a depth of 3450 ft. Radisson has found 218540 ozs of gold from zone 36 during the previous exploration at the property’s center. Currently, drilling is being executed at the project’s eastern section.
