Cabo Drilling has received a contract to drill 13,000 m at Ridgemont Iron Ore’s Redford iron ore property, which is situated in Vancouver Island, BC.
The exploration program of Ridgemont will include an aggressive reconnaissance and ground geophysics program and 13,000 m of diamond drilling. The objective of the company is to define the NI 43-101 compliant iron ore resource for this fall and outline new targets for iron ores.
The company has commenced drilling at the project. It uses an S-2 fly drill, which was recently improved with modern hydraulics to increase production and offer enhanced safety for workers. Cabo will mobilize a second upgraded S-2 fly drill to the project in June end.
John A. Versfelt, President and CEO of the company, has stated that the goal of Cabo Drilling is to offer commercial, safe and specialized drilling services to realize the objectives.
