Drilling has begun on the Kroda Gold Project that is owned 100% by ABM resources. The Kroda Gold Project is situated in the Company’s Barrow Creek Regional Project about 18 km west of the Stuart Highway and 30 km north of the Barrow Creek town.
Barrow Creek town is 200 km south of Tennant Creek and consists of 4 individual prospects, numbered Kroda 1 to 4, that have a combined anomalous strike length of 14 km. The drilling exploration program consists of 14 holes planned to depths of 150 meter to 300 meters. They will test for multiple prospects with the 14 km stretch of gold anomalism.
There will also be follow up drilling in shallow holes previously drilled at Kroda 3 which had returned 25.9 g/t gold at 6 meters and 5.85 g/t gold at 15 meters. Included in the drilling exploration program is a following up on Kroda 2 where previously 3 km gold and associated copper anomalies have been found.
The region has several known mineral occurrences including gold, copper, nickel, zinc, tin and tantalum. ABM Resources has an aggressive exploration policy which is well funded. Drilling exploration at the Company's leading project, the Twin Bonanza Gold Camp including the Buccaneer Gold Deposit is also under progress.
