Typhoon Exploration Begins Airborne Surveys at Fayolle Property

Typhoon Exploration commences the airborne electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical surveys at the Fayolle property.

These surveys will comprise line flows of 160 km and 190 km with 100 m spacing in an east-west and north-south direction and will enclose the property’s north-east sector. The company will include the 2005 magnetic survey in the latest data to get a resolution of 50 m at the north-east sector and 25 m at the Fayolle deposit. These airborne surveys will outline NNW structures’ magnetic signature, which was discovered by the new geological model determining the occurrence of high-grade brecciated formations at the Fayolle deposit.

Moreover, Typhoon and Aurizon Mines will start the fresh geological survey including channel sampling and comprehensive trenching with new rock and mapping.

The company is carrying out the 50,000 m drilling program by means of three drill rigs. Two drills are employed to describe and extend at the depth, which are the formerly discovered mineralization zones at the Fayolle deposit. The other rig is exercised for the systematic exploration campaign that commenced in late 2010 and enclosing a broad favorable corridor of over 2.5 km long by 1 km wide. The company will release the initial drilling results at the earliest.
