The 29 area mantos was excavated previously to the mine acquisition by the company, which produced 250,000 t of ore grading over 6 g/t gold. The company has got the access to this region again and has begun the drilling for expansion of the formerly exploited orebodies. The six drill holes in this area have identified horizontal ore grade mineralization. The location of all the hole intersections are in a fault controlled area, which measures 3,500 m2. Starcore is drilling continuously in this area and the work is advancing to expand the stopes in the hole intersections.
These test results are the typical lab results of the mine with qualified commercial lab results. The true thickness depends on the hole dip and the known dip of the formation in the mine. The company is drilling additionally in the south of this zone.
Subsequent to the 29 manto extension discovery, the primary raise was driven into the discovery taking six samples from the muck pile and encountered 17 g/t gold and 355 g/t silver.
