Rare Earth Metals Receives Preliminary Mineralogy Report on Lavergne-Springer Project

Rare Earth Metals has received a preliminary mineralogy report compiled by Dr Anthony Mariano and Anthony Mariano Jr, which details the Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralogy in the core recently drilled from SL-11-03 hole, the Lavergne-Springer Project.

The Lavergne property is located in Springer Township, north of the Trans-Canada Highway. In the report, Dr Mariano details that upon examination of the sample, dispersed clusters of synchysite were identified. The report also detailed that the section of the core examined was similar to the two holes examined earlier.

Dr Mariano, a geological consultant, a petrographer and seasoned mineralogist expressed his excitement for the Lavergne-Springer project by stating that the delay in locating the resource might be due to the core’s minimal radioactive signature along with the lack of outcrop. Dr Mariano also added that there was a potential for cost-effective metallurgy since the deposit presents promising mineralogy located in the center of the nickel mining country, with proximity to major railways, highways and hydro electrical power source.

The SL-11-03 is the third of a seven-hole program located 180 m north of the other two holes, viz., SL-11-01 and SL-11-02, which are testing the Mineralized West Lavergne REE Zone.
