Trueclaim Exploration has recently completed a significant part in the phase II 8,000 m drilling campaign.
The company has completed 16 holes and drilled just below 2,500 m during the phase I delineation program at the North Zone of the Scadding Gold Property.
The significant achievement of the phase II program is the improved description of the North Zone mineralization. Trueclaim has drilled the North zone in two former programs and intersected 12.9 g/t gold over 19.29 m in the hole TRM-10-07. This North zone is the first out of the five zones at the property, which was targeted by the company for the compliant resource estimation. Trueclaim has hired SRK Consultants of Canada (SRK) and deployed oriented drilling to find out the mineralization’s direction.
SRK has helped in the planning of definition drill holes. The drill hole orientations were selected in order that the chlorite intersection would develop the new mineralization discovery and would provide the mineral deposit’s exact width representation. This drilling program was successful in outlining the mineralization’ geometry and has expanded the modeled envelope in the southeast direction and at depth. The next definition phase in the area will have the spacing more tightly in the mineralized body, owing to the large drill spacing exercised so far.
The onsite geologists of Trueclaim remodeled the area in a three-dimensional modeling program, Surpac, after the completion of drilling in the North zone. The modeling and definition program shows that this North zone includes numerous parallel auriferous trend sets. Olivine diabase dikes have encroached and cross-intersected the mineralization at around 30° from the belt of the auriferous chlorite layers. This North zone needs in-fill definition drilling for the analysis of resources.
The Company has acquired the property from Currie Rose Resources under an option. It has earned a working interest of 51% in the property and continues to maintain the claim to own a 100% interest in the property.
