Rockcliff Resources Starts Exploration Program at Black Gold Property

Rockcliff Resources has begun the exploration at its Black gold property, which is situated 30 km to the north-west of Kirkland Lake in Ontario.

The focus of the exploration will be on the high-grade WK gold zone. The company has found high grade values of gold and visible gold through the primary surface sampling program in the outcrops, pits and in the previous trenches, during 2010. The company encountered gold values raging from 0.60g/t to 51.19g/t along a partly showing area, which has a length of 60 m and thickness of 10 m. The focus of the initial exploration will be on the WK gold zone's open pit potential.

This exploration work will contain washing, trenching and mechanical stripping of the high grade region. The location of the WK gold zone is along the west boundary of a major IP anomaly, which measures a length of +600 m and vertically for around +100 m.

The company has taken the surface grab samples from the WK gold zone. The zone has the pervasive mineralized quartz vein layer located within a bleached, altered mafic volcanic host rock along with the auriferous scattered pyrite.
