Eco Oro Minerals Continues to Intersect Significant Gold at Mongora Target

Eco Oro Minerals has been intersecting considerable values of gold continuously through the diamond drill program conducted at the Mongora target, which is situated 3 km to the southern part of its Angostura gold deposit, northeast Colombia.

The company has cut 16.15 g/t gold and 75.5 g/t silver over 2 m in the hole MO10-21, 8.55 g/t gold and 9.32 g/t silver over 8.9 m in the hole MO10-26, 15.31 g/t gold and 6.51 g/t silver over 4.7 m in the hole MO10-30 and 2.58 g/t gold, 6.19 g/t silver over 24.8 m in the hole MO10-33.

The CEO of Eco Oro has stated that Mongora along with Armenia and La Plata is one of the three satellite mineral deposits located adjacent to the Angostura deposit. All the three regions potentially harmonize and improve the financial side of the Angostura underground project. The development cost can be decreased considerably by treating all the three satellite deposits production in the Angostura plant.

The company has drilled further 18 holes and the total number of drill holes is increased to 58 holes including the drilling of 20,276 m. The focus of the drilling campaign at Mongora is on a gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly, which is expanding to the southwest and west. This program is linked with a geochemical anomaly parallel to the mineralization at the Violetal region of the Angostura property, in which the former drill program has returned major mineralized formations that is 1.5 km to the west. The mineralization stays open at the depth and along strike. Eco Oro is undergoing a soil sampling campaign at the north and has planned to complete a primary mineral resource calculation for Mongora at the earliest.
