Blue Horizon Mining Releases Initial Results from Vermillion Forks Property

Blue Horizon Industries has reported that its 74% owned subsidiary, Blue Horizon Mining (BH Mining) has announced the assay results of preliminary trenching and prospecting program from the flagship Vermillion Forks mining property.

A mineral exploration has been performed by BH Mining at its property, which includes geological mapping, prospecting, a MAG Survey for 705 m, totaling 20 trenches. The Upper Similkameen Indian Band services have been employed for the program’s trenching part. Geotronics has performed the Magnetometer Survey, which contained around 21 line-kms totally with a total radiation count survey, a scintillometer survey.

The company has taken several samples from the trenches and all over the property. The primary assay results from the trenching and prospecting campaign has shown encouraging values of gold, copper and silver. Further trenching results are pending. Brian Simmons, a consultant of BH Mining, has outlined the mineralization as skarn that have copper in the Nicola group rocks. BH Mining is proceeding with the phase II program, including five drill core holes, as it has received the encouraging results from the phase I campaign.

R. J. Beaupre Drilling has secured the preliminary diamond drilling contract from BH Mining. This contract has included HQ core holes, totaling 1,500 m.

BH Mining’s Senior VP Operations has commented that the past exploration results are very positive. The company is expecting the results of the ongoing drill campaign.

Loring Laboratories has performed the testing of the trenching and prospecting rock samples.
