Skyline Gold Reports Initial Analytical Data from Bug Lake Area

Skyline Gold has announced the initial set of analytical information from the wide exploration campaign during 2011 at both the Bug Lake Area and along the Snip-Bronson trend. The information has the important historical results from the Bug Lake and the assay data from the 2011 exploration campaign.

The relative location of the Bug Lake Area within the Iskut Property

The company has performed historical exploration at the Bug Lake and has unveiled over 17 showings, including very high-grade gold. It has encountered 213.7 g/t gold and 72.80 g/t silver over 1.3 m from the chip samples that were gathered at the Swamp Vein during 1987. The mineralization existing in this trench is exposed to the northeast direction.

The 2011 ongoing exploration work at the Bug Lake has targeted comprehensive prospecting to find and authenticate the grades from the several past gold showings. Sampling, geological and structural mapping are incorporated in this program to understand the styles and controls of mineralization. Additionally, this 2011 exploration campaign has completed a wide soil sampling to outline and expand the soil anomalies.

Skyline has obtained the assay results for approximately half of the rock samples and is waiting for the results of more than 560 channel, rock and chip samples. It has cut 105.5 g/t gold and 128.0 g/t silver over 0.89 m at the Bug Lake.

The early operators have validated the trends and the existence of high-grade mineralization from these primary assay results of rock sample at the Bug Lake during 2011.

The company is conducting a geological compilation of the information from the Bug Lake. It will feature a fresh structural control analysis, which has the Bug Lake mineralization. Skyline is expecting the information at the earliest.
