Intrepid Mines Receives Assay Results from Candrian Prospect

Intrepid Mines has received the assay results of the eight hole drill campaign conducted at the Candrian prospect and it has validated that the third copper-gold porphyry system, which was identified at the Tujuh Bukit project, has 1.8 x 0.6 km area as a minimum.

The location of the Candrian prospect is situated 2.2 km to the Tumpangpitu copper-gold deposit’s eastern part.

The company yielded positive results from the hole CND-11-002, including 0.21% copper, 0.8 g/t gold over 138 m and 0.36% copper, 1.6 g/t gold over 40 m.

Varying mineralization levels were found in the holes CND-001 to 008, which have outlined a wide mineralized porphyry system that needs an infill drill program to describe the resources.

The company has cut 0.18% copper, 0.42 g/t gold over 46 m and 0.16% copper, 0.25 g/t gold over 50 m in the hole CND-006, 0.24% copper and 0.27 g/t gold over 46 m in the hole CND-008. It yielded very low arsenic assays in all intersections.

Priority will be given to the completion of preliminary Salakan drilling campaign and ongoing Gunung Manis drill program during the follow-up drill campaign.

The CEO of Intrepid Mines has commented that these results have validated the mineralized system present at the Candrian prospect and has added an extra prospect for additional work. Currently, the mineralized cluster is expanding over 6 x 4 km and the company is expecting to extend further with upcoming drill programs at Salakan.
