Golden Predator has reported the additional results from 19 reverse circulation (RC) holes drilled at the North Slope zone of the Brewery Creek project.
The company has intersected 1.31 g/t gold over 34.0 m in the hole RC11-2364, 2.09 g/t gold over 8.0 m in the hole RC11-2369, 2.74 g/t gold over 14.0 m in the hole RC11-2371, 2.38 g/t gold over 8.0 m in the hole RC11-2385.
Golden Predator drilled 5,427 m, totaling 35 further core holes, and 3,550 m, totaling 31 further RC holes at the project during October. It has drilled greater than 45,000 m, totaling 290 holes, at Brewery Creek. The program has focused on outlining the two discoveries at the Sleeman and Bohemian-Schooner zones during 2011, together with further drill program at the Classic, North Slope zones and Ice Fog zone. The company is waiting for the results from more than 100 RC and core holes. The drill program will continue throughout the year at the Brewery Creek project, using the two core drill rigs and one RC drill rig that are currently functioning at the location. Golden Predator is doing resource modeling for an updated resource calculation.
The location of the North zone region is around 1 km to the northwest part of the reserve-trend deposits that were explored previously at Brewery Creek project. This zone is parallel and structurally the same as those deposits. North Slope’s gold mineralization is present in distorted quartz monzonite sills and nearby siltstones.
ACME Laboratories in Vancouver and ALS Chemex fire tested the samples.
