Eagle Hill Exploration Extends Gold Resource at Windfall Lake Property

Eagle Hill Exploration has reported that the preliminary assay results of the new 25,000 m drilling campaign conducted at the Windfall Lake Property will result in additional ounces to the new gold resource estimation of 1,690,000 t at 6.7 g/t in the inferred category and 1,144,000 t at 9.1 g/t in the indicated category.

The hole EAG-11-295 extended the Mink and Caribou zones for 75 m towards the eastern part of the region that are modeled geologically for the resource calculation. The company cut large pyrite stockwork in those two zones and encountered 5.6 g/t gold over 10.55 m 9.6 g/t gold over 3.30 m.

The holes EAG-11-290 and EAG-11-291 additionally examined the expansion of the east-west gold bearing shear zone, which had been by the hole EAG-11-288 returning 7.47 g/t gold over 14.0 m. The company intersected 2.5 g/t gold over 1.7 m and 2.5 g/t gold over 2.6 m in these holes. These results have validated that the shear zone has gold. Eagle Hill will drill further holes having an aim of discovering the high-grade gold mineralization along this shear zone, which is 7.5 km long.

The assay results for many core holes from EAG-11-289 to EAG-11-295 are pending. The company has drilled more than 5,00 m during the ongoing campaign.

Analyses of gold was conducted by standard fire assay by means of a 30 g charge with gravimetric and atomic absorption finish for assays over 10 g/t. The assay results yielding more than 1 oz/t gold through atomic absorption were tested again by means of the metallic sieve technique. ALS Chemex Laboratory in Quebec conducted all the assays.
