Argus Metals has extended the CUZ discovery by means of two further drill holes, which is located 80 m and 240 m from HY-11-37 discovery hole in the Hyland gold project, Yukon. The company is waiting for the further assay results of the Main zone and the regional exploration.
The company has intersected 1.38 g/t gold over 6 m and 1.52 g/t gold over 1.5 m in the hole HY-11-36, 1.12 g/t gold over 3.6 m in the hole HY-11-38 located in the CUZ zone discovery.
Argus has performed exploration drilling at the CUZ zone and cut 1.93 g/t gold over 4.5 m in the quartz stockwork mineralization in DDH HY-11-37. It collared the drill holes HY-11-36 and HY-11-38. The company has shown the continuity of gold mineralization on the mineralized vein strike. The location of the CUZ Zone discovery is 4 km to the Main Zone’s southern part, where Argus reported the results extending the known mineralization.
The three holes drilled at the CUZ zone cut gold mineralization containing stockwork over 240 m long strike in the gold-in-soil anomaly of the CUZ zone. This stockwork zone is inferred as a secondary east-west trending formation with a possibility for extension, wherein the company has cut carbonaceous siltstone host rocks and the initial north-south Quartz Lake Lineament.
The company is waiting for the rock, soil, stream sediment sample analyzes from the Ike, Hyland and Tina projects, which have been sent to the laboratory for analysis. When these samples are obtained, the company will compile the results.
